Cindy's top pick of the Spring 2021 litters, this one was special from the time it landed in the crate. He is square with excellent rib shape and neck extension to boot. He moves with a smoothness and swagger that demands attention as he walks into the show ring, earning titles at every show he has attended. 

 

 Laissez-faire is French for "Hands Off" and we knew from the start that this boar is one we wanted to retain or place is a stud, where his genetics would be available for all to take advantage of.

"Cheesehead" is our favorite 2020 boar prospect and what we truly believe is the best pig we have ever produced! A product of breeding our 2019 Hereford Nationals Grand Champion Boar, "He-Man" to the litter-mate sister of the 2019 Hereford Nationals Grand Champion Junior Gilt... we had to give this one a name that left no questions as to where he was bred!!!

In fact, there is honestly NOT ONE THING we would change on this hog. He is the most unique Hereford male out there... HUGE bone, perfectly square, smooth mover with swag to boot! With his massive wide shoulders, impeccable top-line, and outstanding markings... Cheesehead turns heads wherever he goes!

We are so excited to use this one to enhanced the structure and soundness of our off-spring... as we believe he is truly the direction Herefords need to go, in order to compete for over-all titles against all breeds! We strongly encourage others who are serious in the future of our breed, to consider using this one.

2021 Fall Classic Hereford Grand Champion Boar

 

This boar was actually an "unexpected gift" out of an unplanned litter...

 

We had let our infamous boar Cheesehead out to stretch on the field... and he blessed us by breeding a sow we had been struggling to find in heat. That sow just so happen to be Blanche, the 2019 Hereford Nationals Grand Champion Gilt.

​

Although the litter was small, what was produced was OUTSTANDING. This April born son went to the Fall Classic in Duncan, OK and dominated the Hereford show against boars much older than him... hence his name. 

​

Stout and solid from the ground up, Duncan is where the next generation of Herefords are headed. He is sound as they come and we intend to use him heavily, as should you!

He-Man is the definition of what a Hereford should look like. In fact, he was third over-all Best Marked Hereford at the 2019 National Show, at which his litter-mate sister took Grand Champion Best Marked!

 

Square bodied, heavy boned, tall fronted, perfectly set ears, with excellent feet... this boar is all around "The Whole Package".

"NO DIGGITY" is Brent's top pick of our 2020 summer litters.  We waited for a looooonnng time to pick out a boar worthy of this name...

 

A product of breeding He-Man's momma to the Legendary "No Doubt", this boar is a sight to behold. He has ideal structure, a great headset and huge feet with sound legs that just glide over the surface as he walks. 

 

We truly believe that No Diggity will make the next generation of Herefords more sound and live up to his namesake.
